I am a writer, educator and a motherpacker (I'm a mother and I work in a packing room). I am a wife to someone as interesting as the Dos Equis guy and a mother of two of the most adorable kids in the world. A foodie, but not a food snob, I believe in the potency of a good meal. Good food not only nourishes the body but also feeds the soul. I believe that there is an invisible energy imparted by the cook onto the food that is shared and so home cooking is rich in vitamin L (love!). My cooking is inspired by my Chinese and Filipino heritage, complemented by my marriage to an American and enriched by living in Japan.
